MG India has opened the bookings for the ZS EV Excite variant from today onwards. The base model is priced at ₹22.58 lakh and it gets a new Ivory White interior theme. This variant was announced back in March when the EV was launched, however, it wasn’t on sale until now. MG recently hiked the prices of the ZS EV with the Excite variant getting a hike of ₹59,000 whereas the Exclusive variant getting a hike of ₹61,800.

The base Excite variant comes loaded with a 25.7-inch HD touchscreen with Park+ Native app for parking booking, the MapmyIndia Online Navigation System with live traffic, live weather & AQI, and the integrated Discover app to locate restaurants and hotels nearby. The system also comes with a Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) update capability. Other than this, it also gets a 360-degree parking camera, digital key, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, fully digital instrument cluster and Hill Descent Control. The design and specifications of the base variant remain similar to the top-end Exclusive variant.
Coming to the looks upfront, the MG ZS EV facelift features a revised front fascia. The front grille is completely shut due to it being an EV and it now gets full-LED Hawkeye headlamps with LED DRLs to highlight the visuals upfront. The side features 17-inch Tomahawk hub design alloy wheels which are different when compared to the Astor. The rear gets LED tail lamps and a faux skid plate. The charging port is enclosed behind the front grille. It is available in Red, Silver, Grey, and Black colors. The 2022 MG ZS EV offers a better range of 461 km with a battery pack rated at 50.3 kWh. It gets a 176 hp motor which enables it to achieve 0-100 km/h in under 9 seconds. The ZS EV can be charged in many ways, including an onboard charging cable, AC Fast Chargers, DC Super Fast Chargers at MG Dealerships, public charging network, and road assistance. While the safety features of ZS EV include six airbags, TPMS, ESP, HLA, HDC, EPB, Blind-spot detection system, pedestrian detection system, rear cross-traffic alert, and ISOFIX mounts, to name a few.
