Fargo-The Animal Ethical Treatment Organization came to Fargo on Wednesday, November 17th to try to persuade people to be vegetarian this Thanksgiving.

PETA tried to suppress their banners with sandbags and water containers, but the winter wind blowing from the west-40 miles per hour-left the protesters with no choice but to hold the banner to prevent it from being blown down.

PETA media activist Katerina Davidovich is from Los Angeles. This protest was her first time in Fargo.

"It's obviously not like the winter in Los Angeles, but I want people to realize that we are not doing this for fun," said PETA media activist Katerina Davidovich.

The star of the show is 29-year-old Luis Correal, wearing only a pair of flesh-colored spandex shorts, lying on a huge cutting board, next to two plastic turkey props, similar to a truss turkey, as a way Protest against the treatment of Thanksgiving birds.

"It's great. I'm glad to be here voluntarily taking time out to be cold here," Correal said. "I think this is really important, because 46 million turkeys are slaughtered every Thanksgiving."

The almost naked turkey imitator was lying outside, his body temperature was only in his 30s. Long underwear may feel good.

"I live in Georgia," Correal said. "It's a lot warmer there, but like I said, I'm very happy to do it."

Within minutes of undressing and lying down, the Georgia turkey trembles like a pecan tree in the south. Soon, he could no longer feel his feet.

"(In) 45 minutes, this will end for me, but not for turkeys," Correal said.

Many people shook their heads and second glances came from people nearby.

"It's nice to be here," Correal said.
